Thanksgiving

Our friends Wade and Alicia hosted Thanksgiving this year. There was so much fabulous food and company...Here is a picture of the whole group and of the kiddy table-where the mom's fed the kids first!

These pictures are of Belle jumping on the couch...I had her wear the skirt that my mom helped me sew when I went home! Oh and the first one is of her looking at something she's never seen before-a toy car...we live in girl world but we might have to invest in one-she loved it!

We had the boys take a picture of us girls and our pies-Alicia doesn't have one because she made the best turkey in the world-yes, it's that good!

We had a fabulous thanksgiving and even though we weren't able to have it with our families we feel so blessed to have so many wonderful friends to help warm our holiday season!

...Trip to Cali...

So, these past two weeks I went home to California-BUT the trip started in Las Vegas for my cousin's wedding. Here is a picture of the beautiful couple- Grant and Amy!

These are both pictures of Belle shopping with us. We found a very special way for Brittany-my disabled sister-to 'babysit' Belle at the mall. Belle kept saying 'weeeee' as they drove around!


Our last day in town was my mom's 50th birthday...Happy Birthday mom we love you~

We went a little bow crazy- I think I made like 28 bows in less than 2 days...I know, I'm a bow machine! haha! And Macy's was having a super-super sale-so we went shopping A LOT!

It's Tink Time!

Last year my mom made Belle this adorable little mermaid costume-so this year I thought I'd give it a try and made Belle's Tinkerbell costume!

Well, she absolutely LOVED trick or treating-she knew darn well what they were filling her pumpkin with! She's a smart girl...what can I say?!? Hope your Halloween was as happy as ours!

Pumpkin Carving

So, for our family home evening activity this week we decided to carve our pumpkin. I put Belle in her adorable Halloween outfit that grandma sent her (thanks grandma!) and we took some pictures of her first...so enjoy!




Belle didn't mind putting her hand in there and pulling the pumpkin guts out with daddy's help!Sky wanted our pumpkin to be scary, and I thought why not do a vampire pumpkin in honor of New Moon?!?

This past week Sky had his Fall break-so we thought we'd take advantage of the time and go see some of the sights. We went to George Washington's house otherwise known as Mt. Vernon and...We took the National Treasure tour-that took us right down by the river-which was gorgeous! Though the weather prediction was for rain-it actually turned out to be a beautiful day. We had a great time and loved all of the beautiful scenery. Belle mostly just liked running around and playing with the rocks!


This is pretty much how she looked all day-just crouching down to pick up rocks and then let them fall between her fingers-she loved it!

One night we took a stroll around an outdoor mall by our house-it's always lit up-year round and we love the whole atmosphere.

So, today the moms group went to a park and Belle LOVED playing and exploring!

Pool Time!!!

Getting some loves from mommy and then being tired from all of the playing she did at the pool. Needless to say we are so sad it is closing in two weeks-way too soon!
This was just a picture I took before Sky and I's date last weekend, Belle and I were waiting for daddy to come home so Belle could go play with her friends from co-op! Thanks for smiling Belle!
